Costa Rica.
Pura Vida, indeed.
Costa Rica contains about 5% of the world’s biodiversity and generates more than 99% of its electricity using renewable energy.
On Costa Rica’s west coast, the Nicoya Peninsula is one of only five Blue Zones worldwide, meaning that the highest concentrations of centenarians (people, who are 100 years old or older) in the world live there. Common factors for a long life are determined as: The inhabitants move their bodies a lot, have social circles that reinforce healthy behaviors and they take time to de-stress.
Costa Rica also abolished its military in 1948 and has no military since then.
