Open Walls by British Journal of Photography.

Let’s go to Arles!

A Journey through Truth and Illusion

I am thrilled to announce that my photograph has been selected for the fourth edition of Open Walls by the esteemed British Journal of Photography (@bjp1854), exploring the captivating theme of TRUTH. In a world where truth seems uncertain, the responses to this complex concept are more intriguing and diverse than ever before.

The photograph, entitled "Photoshop vs Photo Shop," was captured during a documentary assignment for a travel agency at Tünektepe in Antalya, Türkiye. As I stood in awe of the breathtaking mountains in the background, a photography shop caught my eye, seemingly blending with its surroundings as if it were a product of digital manipulation. This thought-provoking image, delving into the realms of illusion and reality, will be displayed in a group exhibition at @galeriehuitarles. The exhibition coincides with Les Rencontres d’Arles, a renowned photography festival established in 1970, and will commence during the first week of July.

Prepare to delve into a world where truth and perception intertwine, where the boundaries between fact and fabrication blur. Join me at Arles, as we embark on a journey through the captivating landscapes of photography, and bear witness to the compelling narratives that unfold before our eyes. Let us embrace this opportunity to question and explore the meaning of truth in our ever-changing world.
